host the Main Stage Saturday June 11th @ PARK LIVE

MN2S hosted the main stage at Park Live which was held in London's Brockwell Park. We went along for what turned out to be a very enjoyable event that played host to some first class acts that blew the crowd away.

As we arrived at the site we were treated to the sound of SIR., Norman Jay spinning a set of Soulful / Funky House tunes that were warming up the early birds just right and getting us all in the mood for an afternoon of fine music.
Martin Solveig followed and played a mixture of his own tracks in what seemed like quite a short set.!? With the beer flowing nicely and more people turning up all the time the atmosphere was definitely hotting up as one of my favourite DJ's CJ Macintosh took to the decks. He was acompanied by Shovel who did his thing on the drums that worked very well along side Cj. who for me he was the DJ of the afternoon with his tight mixing and excellent selection of tunes that the crowd really went for. He was in total control and the perfect lead for the next act who was the one and only Jocelyn Brown.
Jocelyn was the second live act of the day with Michael Watford singing earlier as he had to fly off to Italy for a gig. This was the first time I had heard Jocelyn sing live and boy can she sing.! As she took to the stage everybody seemed to serge forward to get closer to the vibe of what she weas doing. She did two numbers, her collaboration with Todd Terry 'Something Going On In Your Soul' and 'Believe' that she did with Eric Morrillo. The whole place was going crazy to her and the vibe was amazing, even my mate Chris (who doesn't smile very often) was clearly moved by her performance.!. The only shame is that she didn't do another song, everyone was shouting for one more but it was not to be :(
Following Jocelyn we were treated to House legend Tony Humphries who's cool calm style was like a beam of sunshine that kept everyone moving under the gray sky with a mixture of deep house grooves coupled with uplifting vocal tracks that everyone new.
Unfortunately we had to leave during Tony's set to get back home which was rather difficult to tear myself away at this point as we were well into the whole vibe and didn’t want to leave.! In all the event was brilliant and I will make sure to stay for the duration of the next one..!
