Users of Traxsource will notice a slight change in it’s appearance in that it has now launched ‘Level 2’. The leading House music download site has upped the stakes considerably with it’s new functions and design with the aim to make it more personable to the individual user. This has been greatly achieved by adding functions like...  My What’s New Where you can display details like last logged in (i.e. each time you log in it will inform you ONLY of new additions since your last visit.) last made a purchase - New additions in last 24 hours / last 7 days etc... These options also can be set to be the default setting through My Options.

My Favourite labels where you can choose any number of labels as favourite labels and only be shown New Releases from those chosen labels.

My History gives you the opportunity to check back on tracks you have recently previewed. You can set the amount of tracks (i.e. 5, 25...) a great idea if you suddenly think ‘I like that track now what was it again?"

My Purchases Each user can check their previous transactions as well as emailing or printing individual receipts. This again is a brilliant function, apart from you can see just how much money you have spent!!

My Cart & My Wishlist & My Downloads are the same as before and of course you can still download the entire purchase in a handy ZIP file.

The New Search Engine A more enhanced Search Engine returns better results with allowing you to use fewer key words to find what your looking for.

Another good thing is that Traxsource has stuck to HTML for the main build of the site leaving the use of Flash for the pretty bits! I have been of other download site that use Flash and they just don’t seem to function as well to me.
There are more improvements implemented to Level 2 but I’ll let you find out more..

In all the design looks great and the site remains easy to use, the Traxsource team are setting the standard for all other download site to follow, they have really thought about what each user will benefit from and created a great shop environment. The only thing that I think it could benefit from is it’s own built in player to hear the tracks, other than that it’s a job well done for Traxsource, The Future of House...
